Saturday 13 December, is SMARTIE PARTIE Xmas Special AND promoter Trace’s actual birthday, its the perfect excuse for a great party! Main headliners of the night include...
(SP Debut) MUTINY DJS (Dylan Earl Barnes & Rob Davy), famous for their music production throughout their 11 year history. Their first album ‘In the Now’ picked up by Virgin to world acclaim and featuring the Club and Top 40 hits ‘Secrets’ and ‘The Virus’. “A fantastic album… the best dance album of the year” enthused Darren Emerson, and was championed by a diverse range of DJ’s from Roger Sanchez through to Jacques le Cont, John Carter, Sander Kleinenberg and Bobby and Steve amongst many others.
After forming a strong partnership with Darren Emersons label Underwater, they released the huge underground record “Yaself”, which received fantastic reactions across the globe. Having released Yaself on Underwater, Mutiny went on to release the compilation with Emerson ‘Underwater Vol 2’ and the club anthem "Holding On" featuring Lopraine Cato, and then the follow up to “In the Now”... "Yada Yada", which again received much acclaim throughout the Dance world, and brought them to the attention of far flung territories such as Japan and Australia. 2008 saw the release of " SUN IN MY EYE'S" (the Miami Winter Dance Conference best track) with Amber Jolene, this act is called MYOMI. With this the boys also have a brand new MUTINY album plus new club tracks and collaborations to released on their label SUNFLOWER. With a monthly residency @ FUCK ME I'M FAMOUS PACHA IBIZA this summer, we’re sure they’ll fit in perfectly with SP!
Joining the Mutiny boys is SP favorite STEVE SMART (Kiss fm’s very own bad boy!) and Top Jock PHIL DRUMMOND... Alongside SP's Brilliant Residents + lots of new blood joining the SP camp this month. Including up-coming super Dj Lewi Five-0, Craig Chambers, Dom Young + Phil good, Hours, Techno Coaliation & more. Plus SP Dancers & Birthday boy Trace on his Percussion/FX. This is our Xmas party so expect plenty of extra's all over the Shop!
